ROUTE 66 SPRINT SERIES STARTED SEASON WITH MORE THAN 160 PILOTS IN THE UNITED STATES AND WITH TIRES PROVIDED BY MG TIRES

With a new track layout, New Castle Motorsports Park, in the state of Indiana, United States, welcomed more than 160 racing drivers last weekend to open the Route 66 Sprint Series, an event hosted by brazilian MGtires and Franklin Motorsport.

In 2017 the Route 66 Sprint Series has 10 categories, one more than last year, since this season included the IAME Bambino Kidkart, created to guarantee another gateway for the small Racing drivers and that began its participation with eight competitors.

Beginners have other categories at their disposal on Route 66, such as the Yamaha Rookie, Cadet and IAME Mini Swift. Besides that, seven other categories form the competition.

At the end of this first round, consisting of six batteries (all of them allowing score), the leaders are Wyatt Kessinger (Bambino Kid Kart), Levi Copass (Comer Kid Kart), Eliott Cox (IAME Micro Swift), Garret Adams (IAME Mini Swift), Matthew Northtrop (IAME X30 Junior), Alexander Kardashian (IAME X30 Senior), Sam Hinds (Yamaha Cadet), Zack Pretorius (Yamaha Junior), Ava Dutton (Yamaha Rookie) and Brandon Lemke (Yamaha Senior).

The Route 66 Sprint Series has the tires of all its categories provided by the brazilian MGtires.

The competition will also have five more rounds throughout the year, spread across the states of Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, ending in December.
