SKUSA RETURNS TO THE RIO ALL-SUITE HOTEL & CASINO AND DISCLOSES OFFICIAL TRACKING FOR ITS 22TH EDITION

In its return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, SKUSA - this year's 22nd edition - announced this week the track that will be used starting November 14, when the activities begin in Las Vegas, in Unites States. The 22nd SKUSA Supernationals ends on the 18th.

More than 520 drivers are already confirmed for the competition, in the categories X30 Junior, X30 Senior, X30 Master, Pro Shifter, Mini Swift, KA100 Senior, Master Shifter, Micro Swift, KA100 Junior and KZ, among them some using the Italian IAME engines .

Who designed the layout for this edition were designers Howie Idelson, Bonnier Moulton and Wesley Boswell, once again invited by Tom Kutscher, the owner of SKUSA. The three are racing drivers with extensive participation in SKUSA: Idelson competed in the first 20 editions, Moulton played all 21 SKUSA already held and Boswell won in 2003.

The track will have 1,250 meters and 12 turns, counterclockwise and a drawing that mixes the previously used traces at the Convention Center and Rio All. "This track was much harder to draw than last year because we had to taking care of the light poles and some special points on the asphalt”, Boswell said. "We worked on this for four months and we felt that this track flows well, it has good passing points. It will be fun to compete in it", he says.

SKUSA will again have the supply of tires on behalf of Brazilian MGtires, through the Evinco brand.
