Homestead, Florida's leading kart track, in the United States, recently announced a long-term partnership that will allow a newly formed group to take over its managerial and operational control. With this, the track that is about 30 minutes from Miami, is now controlled by the Vantage Karting Group (VKG), formed by Eric Jones and Justin Marks, professionals of the sport.
Two companies will partner VKG in this venture, American Medical Response (AMR) and brazilian MGtires, one of the most successful kart tire manufacturers in the world. Thus, the complex will be called "AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires".
"It is with pride that MGtires enters into this partnership with Eric Jones, our US distributor. Miami is the main gateway into the United States for all of Latin America, but especially for Brazilians. We will work together with him and with Justin Marks to give all the support to Brazilian riders at their events, especially at Skusa Winternationals, in January, "said Marcello Ventre, from MGtires.
The SKUSA Winternationals will be a major event, to be held in two stages in 2018, in January and February in Homestead and Ocala.
