In August, at the state of Maranhão, the first edition of the Kart Endurance Federations Cup, a national competition where drivers and teams used tires supplied by MG, one of the biggest kart tires manufacturers of the world.
The competition gathered 22 teams from all over Brazil and happened in a single race, with 5 hours and (310 laps) of duration at the Imperatriz International Karting Track.
The tires from MG, manufactured in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and exported to more than 60 countries in five continents of the planet, were a highlight in the race disputed under severe heat.
The first edition of the Kart Endurance Federations Cup was won by the Santa Catarina Automobile Federation, which competed with the drivers Andre Nicastro, Enzo Prando and Waldir Belizario, by the D Racing team.
