One of the main go-kart tires manufacturers of the world, the Brazilian MG Tires recently released a new line of it's products homologated by FIA Karting, one of the entities that coordinates the worldwide karting.

The new line kept the five types of tires from the previous line, but with even better performances and durabilities, with new names: SH2, SM2, SW2, SC2 and SCW2.

The tire SM2 (yellow label) is softer and embodies all the manufacturer experience, with the highest level of technology, supporting the most demanding drivers with durability and great performance.

As to the SH2 (red label and harder), it is the perfect tire for drivers and competitions that seek greater durability while, at the same time, a good performance is demanded.

The SC2, for the Brazilian classes Mirim and Cadete (and similar classes all over the world), delivers safety and fun to the little drivers, with durability and performance.

Finally, the models SW2 and SCW2 are the tires for wet weather manufactured by MG, bringing extreme grip in a wet track.

Gabriel Gomez, the main Brazilian driver in the worldwide karting nowadays, has acted in the testings of MG's new line of tires.

"The new MG tires have several features and one of the main features is the great grip increase. With that, the asphalt has more rubber and the track keeps getting better throughout the week, becoming better to drive and enjoy the speed at the curves", says the pole position driver at the 2021 World Championship and current leader of the European Championship at the OK class.

Gomez also spoke about other important aspects from MG's new line of tires: "The durabiliby of the tires also increased and their performance don't get worse during the session. Besides that, they became more constant, will much less wearing", analizes. "But that main benefit, I repeat, is the grip". This is something that has been very well worked. It is a tire that the driver enjoys much more the speed than before and, at the same time, will be able to learn more, pushing his edges. The time are decreasing in all tracks", finalizes.
